Hi Cruisers, It's day 4, and our first port day on this awesome Alaska cruise. Today we are in Ketchikan Alaska, and we've got an action packed day ahead of us. We planned to go zip lining at Herring Cove, but as you'll see in the video, things did not go as planned. After zip lining we planned a bear watching tour. The bear watching was phenomenal!
Our visit to the Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary included more that just bear watching. There is a really cool workshop where you can see totem poles being carved. There is also a Raptor center where they rescue animals like bald eagles, hawks, and owls. There is also a nice shop for souvenirs and hot chocolate.
After our terrific excursion we drop by Annabelle's, one of Ketchikan's famed restaurants. Annabelle's famous Keg & Chowder House was recommended by our van driver as a great place to eat. You'll get a peek and some of the food we got at Annabelle's in this video.
