On my latest adventure in Alaska I explore the small port town of Whittier, located in the mountains in the Prince William Sound. Whitter has history dating back to the gold rush, an Army base built in World War II, a key location for the Alaska Railroad, and the only way to get to Whittier is by vehicle through one of the longest highway tunnels in North America.
